Saying goodbye to someone you love is never easy, and there is no single “right” way to do it. Together, we can create a farewell that feels true to the life, values and stories of your person – whether that’s a funeral, cremation service, memorial, live wake or a special remembrance for a much‑loved fur baby. My role is to walk beside you with care, listen deeply, and gently shape a ceremony that brings comfort, connection and space to honour a life well lived.
Funerals
A funeral is often the first opportunity for family and friends to come together, share memories and say goodbye. I work closely with you to create a ceremony that reflects who your loved one was – their personality, beliefs, quirks and the moments that mattered most. Whether you prefer something traditional, simple and quiet, or a more relaxed and personal gathering, along with your funeral director we can guide you through each step, help with words and music when they are hard to find, and hold the space with honour, warmth and respect.
Cremation Services
A cremation service can be just as meaningful and personal as any other farewell. Together we can design a ceremony at the chapel, graveside, or another special place that feels right for you. This might include readings, music, symbolic gestures and time for reflection. I will support you in choosing the elements that feel most comforting, so the ceremony honours your loved one’s wishes and gives family and friends a gentle way to say goodbye.
Memorial Ceremonies
A memorial service is often held after a private cremation or burial, giving you more time and flexibility to gather when it feels right. Memorials can be held in a garden, at home, by the water, or in any place that holds meaning. Together we can create a heartfelt tribute with stories, photos, music and rituals that celebrate a life well lived. My aim is to help you create a space where people can remember, share and feel supported.
Live Wakes
A live wake is a beautiful way to celebrate someone’s life while they are still here to share in the love. These gatherings can be gentle, joyful, reflective – or a mix of all three. I will work with you and your person of honour to shape a ceremony that feels comfortable and authentic, giving everyone a chance to express their love, gratitude and stories in the moment. It’s a precious opportunity to say the things we often leave unsaid.
Our animal companions hold a special place in our hearts, and their loss can be deeply felt. A fur baby remembrance offers a tender way to honour the life of a much‑loved pet and acknowledge the bond you shared. Together we can create a simple, heartfelt ceremony – perhaps in a favourite park, garden or cosy spot at home – with stories, photos and small rituals that bring comfort. I will support you with kindness and understanding as you say goodbye to your loyal friend.
